The chubby identical twin to the Beckett Stripe, this is an amazing example of how much effect the weft can have on our perception. While both textiles inherited the same twill structure of the hand weavers’ classic pattern, this version utilizes a plush cotton/rayon chenille in its weft giving it marvelous softness and sheen. When presented with its natural and simple color ways, the pattern is reminiscent of a snake, thus its name.
